Our hiring process
Four stages, about three weeks, and we'll tell you where you are at every step.
Within 5 working days
A human reads your application
The department lead who owns the vacancy, not a filter. You'll get a yes or a no with a reason, and we'll keep your CV for other roles if it's a near miss.
Week 1
A 20-minute call
Two questions about what you're looking for and what you need from us. Preparation is fine, and we'll tell you in advance what we'll cover.
Week 2
A working interview
An hour of real work — a clinic scenario, a writing task, or a supervised session. Paid if it's a full shift, and we reimburse travel either way.
Week 2–3
Meet the team
Fifteen minutes with two people you'd actually work alongside. You're welcome to ask them anything, including how rotas get changed.
Week 3
Offer, or feedback
Written offer within three days, with the full package written out. If it's a no, you get specific feedback and a conversation if you want one.

Working at Novus
For administrative and patient-services roles, yes. For clinical roles we need registration completed, though we fund and mentor students through their final year.
Eight weeks, and the published rota is the rota you work. We have never used a rota as a hiring promise and then ignored it.
Six months, with a structured review at week 12 and week 26. Full sick pay and pension from day one — the only thing that changes is notice period.
We cover interview travel, and for consultant posts we offer up to $8,000 toward relocation. For other roles, ask — the budget exists and isn't advertised.
Yes, from 16 hours a week up to full time. We advertise the true hours rather than offering full time with unadvertised extras.
