The process
Four steps, and you only ever have to do the first one.
Give us your insurer and policy number when we confirm by phone. That's the only information we need from you.
Our billing team submits prior authorisation 3–5 working days ahead and calls you with the expected out-of-pocket figure.
After your visit, the claim goes to your insurer from us. You get a receipt and the claim reference the same day.
We bill only your remaining share — deductible, coinsurance or copay — once your insurer has confirmed what they pay.
If your insurer under-pays or rejects a claim, we file the appeal on your behalf and keep you updated. There is no fee, and we will not chase you for a bill while an appeal is open.

All major cards, plus cash at reception. Card details are never stored — every payment is a one-off terminal transaction.
Account details on your invoice. Mark your name and appointment date so the payment clears the same day.
Split any self-pay package into up to three monthly payments, interest-free, decided in one phone call.
If money is the barrier
Around one in nine of our patients is uninsured or under-insured. A small fund exists so that never becomes the reason someone goes untreated.
If you tell us a cost is unaffordable, we will not ask you to pay it and we will not pass it to debt collection. Tell us, and we will find a way.
Good to know
It depends on your plan. We check for you before your appointment, submit the request if needed, and call you with the expected cost. You do not need to do anything.
Never for an in-network service. We write off anything your insurer does not pay beyond your agreed deductible, coinsurance or copay.
New-patient consultations are $180 and follow-ups $120, quoted in writing before you book. Cardiology and neurology attract a $40 clinical-suite surcharge for equipment use.
Free up to 12 hours before your slot. $35 for late cancellations and $50 for a no-show — both waived if you're unwell, and never waived automatically otherwise.
Overpayments are refunded within 5 working days. Cash refunds are given at reception; card refunds take a further 3–5 days to appear, depending on your bank.
Nothing — tell us and we'll appeal it, free of charge. Send the insurer's letter to billing@novushealth.com and we take it from there.
Yes — every invoice itemises each charge against its billing code, and a summary in plain language. Ask reception, or it's in your portal within 24 hours.
